Sometimes we connect with people hoping they can help us reach our next level but in turn they turn you away from it. Many people have fallen short in reaching their full potential because of the spirit of hindrance. This giant will stand in your way and will do everything it can to distract you from your goal. It also operates with fear. Most Christians do not mature because of a lack of understanding. (Hosea 4:6) Hindrance will keep you back if you don’t fight it. That’s why we need understanding because so many people look as though they’re going somewhere but have not moved at all. Israel was hindered from their promise for 40 years because of 10 people who did not believe that God was capable of doing what he said. (Numbers 13:31-33) How many people have you told your dream to and they smiled, laughed at you and said it wasn’t going to happen? So many promises have been buried by doubt and unbelief because there may be someone or something affecting your drive to move forward. Don’t base your life expectancy on someone’s perception of you and allow their tongue to guide you into a cycle of just walking around saying what you are going to do or what you should have done. If others cannot believe you will achieve goals in your life or feel that your goals are unattainable, that’s just one’s opinion of how they feel but you can reach as far as the stars by believing that what God has promised you is for you. Remove yourself from hindrance!
